## "SI" is going mainstream

On 22 September 2026, the US President told the UN General Assembly that AI would "hereinafter" be called Super Intelligence. On 29 September an executive order, *Inaugurating the Era of Super Intelligence*, directed federal agencies to use "Super Intelligence" and "SI". Anthropic, Google, Meta, OpenAI, Nvidia and xAI signed the White House Accord on Super Intelligence. It is an executive order, not legislation: it binds federal agencies, not private companies.
